1. ‘BODMAS’ Rule

This rule depict the correct sequence in which the operations are to be executed, so as to find out the value of given expression

Here,

B Stand for Bracket

O Stand for Order ( Power , Square , Root )

D Stand for Division ( Left to Right )

M Stand for Multiplication ( Left to Right )

A Stand for Addition ( Left to Right )

S Stand for Substraction ( Left to Right )

Example

               23 + 11 ÷ 22 + ( 12 ÷ 4 )² – 10 × (12 × 3 )

• • 23 + 11 ÷ 22 + (3)² – 10 × 48      ( Solve Bracket First )
  • 23 + 11 ÷ 22 + 9 – 10 × 48          ( Then Solve Order )
  • 23 + 0.5 + 9 – 10 × 48                 ( Then Solve Division )
  • 23 + 0.5 + 9 – 480                       ( Then Solve Multiplication )
