Quantitative Aptitude - Linear Equation - Formula & Concept Tutorial
- Linear Equation
It is an algebraic equation in which each term has an exponent of one and graphing of the equation result in straight line.
Standard form of linear equation is y = mx + b
Where x is variable and y, m, b are constants
Linear equation can be consistent and inconsistent.
Consistent :-
- x + y = 7
- x + 2y = 10
Inconsistent :-
- 14x + 16y = 20
- 14x + 16y = 30
Inconsistent Linear Equation do not have any solution.
